Deon got her Cinderella dress from cousin Hailey today!! We were so excited!

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Where to start. Well, the top left is Ricky chasing Cora after being perterped long enough. They chase each other back and forth all day long. Then next to that we've got our next Green Bay Packers quarter back! And Deon sampling my boots. The thigh high boots don't look quite right on her...Then there's Blake and Deon in Cora's cage. Those smiles crack me up! Say cheeeeese!!! Deon did a cheer camp. That was intersting. She's not a cheerleader - yeah! She just wants to dance! It was snowing that night too as you can see in this last picture. :)

What a great day! Harry's Kindergarten field trip to the pumpkin patch. Harry was excited since it was his first time riding the bus. The rule of the pumpkin patch was the kids could pick any pumpkin as long as they could carry it. Most of the boys went for the largest pumpkins and the girls had small pumpkins. It was fun to see. He loved this day!

Apple picking time! This is my favorite time of the year. We took a little trip to an apple orchard near us. It was a great day. Harry of course picked several apples, from the forbiden trees before I realized what he was doing. He was excited. Kate was our trusty wagon puller until the load became too heavy, not with apples. Harry decided that a wagon ride would be a better way to travel through the orchard. FYI, Harry does not like to be called Harrison. He informed me the other day when I called him Harrison it means he is in trouble. Otherwise, I always need to call him Harry.

Kate and Harry's first day of school. Harry woke with great excitement and exclaimed, " Kate wake up it is our first day of school". He then rushed downstairs to use the bathroom. He wasn't in there but a minute and I here, "Mom, my stomach doesn't feel good", and with that he began to throw up. So much for his first day of Kindergarten. Poor guy!

So here's our latest and greatest! Starting at the top, Blake loves spaghetti and that is why we eat it outside! Deon's face is painted like spider man because we went to a carnival and while all the other girls looked like fairies or princesses, mine was the only spider woman! Be afraid!!! She would not let us wash her face for 3 days. Yuck! As for the bunney outift. Well, thank you Sarah and can anyone say Christmas Story? Sorry, she plans on being Cinderella this year for Halloween. :) Blake loves books and loves to climb into anything. That's his favorite spot to look at a book. He looks like a little boy and he's only 12 months there!! And there's Cora and Deon taking a nap together. I don't think Cora sleeps anymore, and if she does it's while she's in time out for jumping on the kids. Why can't she sleep inside?! Cora loves to chase Ricky but it results in Ricky turning around and chasing after her. No one messes with the de-clawed cat!!

The Bennett summer

This is the ramp that was stolen out of our yard...we make them out of wood so nobody would want it...kind of weird if you ask me. We did however get it back! The boys were at the skate park and some of the kids there told them they had seen it in a kids yard. So we went to the police station (that was rather comical! Me and my 3 kids giving a descriptin of what it looked like at where it was.) The police actually picked it up and brought it back for us!! So this is where I can find Ty most of the day. He is either riding his bike on it or spray painting it. That is one of the things he got for his birthday.

More of our summer

The shot of the summer at the skate park

Hayden did her first roller coaster!! She wasn't tall enough so she stood on her tippy toes and the guy let her on, She said, "I was like this the whole time!"

Justin's birthday we did a dutch oven cooking party! We had a blast and finished it off with home made icecream. I think it was a great success!!

I'm free, free flying...what you can't see is the mat he is falling onto, but he sure is way up there. Justin even leaped off.

Some of our summer continued

This is the house we fixed up and will be closing on next month. Isn't it cute?!

The best deal for icecream cones at Silverwood. It is Bryce's favorite part of the day!

We had season passes to Wild Waters. The kids had so much fun...and I have to say I have a pretty nice tan :)

The boys first day of school...I think they forced those smiles out.

Hayden loves to dig for worms in my garden, I have dug up all of my red potatoes and she is always in there hunting for new ones...she even names them.

Camping labor day weekend...this is how we play in style.

Bryce's birthday present...I think he is pretty excited. Just in case you were wondering there were no accidents that weekend...Phew!!

Eat Cake!

Now I hope you can tell which kid I made the cakes for! It sure gets hectic making my kids their own cakes when their birthdays are just 4 days apart! Who planned that?!

The treasure hunt

I bet you guys would have come if you knew there was a treasure hunt with a treasure map...that got modified as we went with short cuts...I wonder who was leading that expedition? Any guesses. The kids were so excited to go and find what was hidden that they didn't even notice it was a couple of miles in.
Thanks June and Dad that was a lot of fun... I'll have to take a picture of the map and post that too.

Camping

The state bird of Wyoming is the mosquito...Here is what infested and welcomed us to camp.
Justin got the boys the baseball style of gum...I can't believe how much they could fit into their mouths...of course that was after the atomic fire ball contest, which Justin won...Hayden was the first to drop out and I was second...really it was disgusting, I don't know what we were thinking as kids.

We made the yummiest dinner in our dutch ovens and enjoyed the grand Tetons as a family minus Hayden who refused to get out of the car one more time!!

My hair cut...

I got my hair cut!!! So even though Justin has told me he still needs to get used to it...he still loves me.
By the way this picture was after camping for 3 das and having really gross hair.

The headset is in my ear because I was talking to Heather who inspired me to blog it...I actually had a second.

So what do you think?! Only nice coments please the others will be deleted.
