flow rider

My first ride! I learned a few things here. Keep your feet in the water!

Be our guest...dinner

There is a point during the week that you just want to feel hungry instead of so full!! This was on Labadi Haiti. We played volley ball and then hit the buffet that was brought off of the ship. There was no water only punch. We asked our head waiter what they do with the leftovers. He said at 2:00 locals just show up and with in seconds it is all gone in garbage bags. I thought that was cool!
Here is Wunich, our waiter. He was pretty cool, he's been doing this for 15 years and works 6 months on and 2 months off, it is amazing how long they are away families. When he told us his name it sounded like he said One Each. We thought he was talking about how much you could order off of the menu. We were a little confused since you can get as much as you want!

The Pizza Parlor, They had lots of desserts and Pizza and mozzarella balls and artichoke hearts, and cookies and.... Let's just say before we would go up to play games we would find most of our group here stocking up for the game room. I never understood how they were hungry AGAIN.

Johnny Rocket's. This was really fun, they come and dance for you while you eat. Everything was free except the milkshakes. See the wrist bands on my arm, these are for riding the flow rider, ice skating and rock climbing. They would punch it to let them know that you signed your waiver. My goal was to do all three...goal accomplished. (By the way Trav, this is in Jamaica.)

Lobster night. This guy was our head waiter, he goes around each table and makes sure all is well. He even helps with the lobster shell removal. The record our waiter has had for amount of lobster ordered for one person was 15!

Flow rider!

My favorite part of the ship...the flow rider. This was so much fun!! first you have to jump in. Justin caught a great photo of that one.

Then you pull yourself up to your knees, be sure to leave your feet in the water or you will wipe out. But that's another photo.

Then you can try other tricks like pushing the board out in front of you and catching it again. This is only good to do if your shorts and top will stay on. I saw a few body parts this week :)

Then you can surf on it! How cool is that? He got the hang of it by the end of the week.

On the third day I finally turned on my TV and found a channel just for the flow rider. WHO KNEW!! We would watch it in the morning to see if anybody from our group was there yet. Here is Justin, on TV!!

Fun on the ship

Mini Golf is always a blast, but the handicap score goes up on days that you are out to sea and it's windy!!

Justin played dodge ball with the guys and was the last man standing...he's so cool!

The ice show was amazing this guy did splits, walked on the outside of the ring, (which was covered in spikes) one wrong move and...ouch!! I had a lot of fun watching Justin's face during this. CRINGE

You are looking at the wining team for the amazing race!!! That was an hour of running from one side of the ship to the other, top to bottom! We had to do the flow rider, rock climb, answer questions, shoot hoops and run a relay. It was a blast!

The free frozen yogurt machine, this is Don Stafford one of our good buddies, we could either find him here or the pizza parlor.

Under the Sea..

Ok this is Grand Caymen. I went snorkeling with the Garn's and we found a sting ray! Can you see it? It was a lot of fun to follow untill it turned around and started to follow us!

Justin went scuba diving in Cozemel, his new favoirte spot to dive. He said the colors were just amazing and the camera didn't capture it. I think it's about time I get certified.

Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. We climbed up the water fall once again. This was our third time coming here and I have to say I love it!

Cruisin the Caribbean

Where do I start?! I could put it to song....These are a few of my favorite things. READY?!
Leaving Miami,...I didn't take this photo.
I was on my balcony watching us leave from my room though. (Hey I'm rhyming!)
Watching the sunset outside of Jamaica
Balconies are good for so maaaannny things. (wink wink)
Rock climbing just so I can say that I did it.
Hanging off a wall and not liking the feeling. Stopping right there and belaying back down. these are a few of my favorite things. (I looked cool while I was up there though)

Hanging out with lots of our favorite friends
Takes away the winter blues.
I can't forget yoga with on the front of the boat.
